Well I have it now!! Just finished all the details for The Grilling Planks SuperStore Recipe Contest. Today I added the category Marinates/Sauces/Rubs to the long list of recipe sections. I know many of you have some of your favorites. Take a moment to jot them down or better yet make a video of using them with your favorite food. New Winter Sales Event!

Nuts with this Cold Weather. Here in South Dakota we have been lucky to get out of the 40d range for some time now. It's getting kind of boring.

I have just set up a new Winter Blues discount that will run through February 15th. With orders that subtotal at $40.00 or more there will be an automatic 20% discount. Save a bunch more--with orders of $75.00 or more the shipping is FREE.

I know we are close to warmer weather but it seems like forever away. If it could only get to 50+ I could get out in the yard and grill some stuff. I sure hope you live in a warmer part of the World. Enjoy it!

We now have a brand new YouTube Site just for Plank Cooking information. It's new but growing fast. Please feel free to submit your videos or slide shows with plank use tips or recipes. I will be adding a bunch of useful info to it. It also is RSS capable. Keep track of all the updates with out effort.

Welcome to Planker’s blog. My name is Larry and I really do want to welcome you. This blog will contain lots of helpful info about using grilling and oven/roasting plank cooking. I own the web site http://www.grillingplanks.biz. The site is now 4 years old and we have shipped tens of thousands of feet of grilling planks. Thank you to all of our hundreds of wonderful customers.

Beginning the first of April we will begin our first Annual Plank Cooking Recipe Contest. Ending date for submissions will be Sunday June 7th.
