A 18 Inch length grilling plank can be placed on nearly any grill in the length of the cooking surface.  They can be set side by side to offer several choices of food entrees without mixing the different food flavors.  This size plank is a perfect fit for up to 10 boneless chicken breasts, many small seafood fillets or a regular cut whole salmon fillet or whole fish.  Our larger thick cut longer lasting 18 inch planks are just the right size for a two whole chickens or a half cut pork loin roast.  The thick cut style can also be used as a oven plank instead of on the grill.  As an oven plank the thick cut style can be used many times.  See our "Use Guide" for more details.
